It all started when i pressed the red video button on my iphone

Five years ago I was a blogger and thought it’d be a great idea to add video content to my blog. I saw the red video button in my iPhone camera settings and knew I could make a video. But after recording for a few minutes, I realized “Wait! I don’t know what I’m doing. How do I get this video off my phone and post it online? Why does the background look ugly? How do you edit? Do I need to buy an expensive camera?”

So many questions arose and I had to spend a LOT of time researching the answers to those questions, which means that I wasn’t spending time working on my blog.

When you’re starting your blog, YouTube channel or online course business, your list of things to do is a mile long. You’re juggling so many things and becoming a full fledged film maker is not one of them. You have very specific questions that you wish you could just ask an expert so that you can get back to work.

I totally get it. I was right where you are. After a while, I was able to find that video professional who answered all of my questions. And you know what? It changed my world completely. Video production and editing went from something that I dreaded doing for my blog as it was a time suck to something that was a fun and creative outlet.

Making videos for your creative business doesn’t have to be overwhelming. You don’t have to do it alone. You can reach out and ask for help when you’re starting out. I want to help you reach get back to what you’re really passionate about - building your business.

The Deets:

  • An hour and a half video call to ask all your burning video production & editing questions

  • For camera specific questions… every camera manufacturer is a little different. I find that although cameras have different menus and bodies, they perform the same functions. So we’ll concentrate on how to approach video production more than the specifics of each unique camera body.
